A storm carries little Dorothy Gayle to the magical land of Oz. Desperate, she makes her way to the capital, where the great Wizard of Oz lives - only he can help her return home. The journey there is full of danger and adventure, but Dorothy soon finds friends and allies: a scarecrow who wants brains, a man made of tin who would like a heart and a fearful lion who desperately wants to be braver.
