Der wilde Roboter

The epic adventure follows the journey of a robot - ROZZUM Unit 7134, or ‘Roz’ for short - who is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh environment. But easier said than done, as the animal islanders shy away from the presence of the metallic newcomer - and are downright afraid of the blinking and noisy figure who actually only wants to help. Even when Roz (original voice: Lupita Nyong'o / German voice: Judith Rakers) learns the language of the furry and feathered islanders, this does nothing to change their tense relationship. But when he finds an orphaned gosling, the robot's existence takes on a new meaning. From then on, he sacrificially looks after his foster child and tries to help it with survival tips. In addition, the lesser white-fronted goose, christened Brightbill (Kit Connor), has to prepare for the upcoming bird migration.
