Der Junge dem die Welt gehört
ROBERT GWISDEK, also known as Käptn Peng, celebrates his feature film debut as a director with DER JUNGE DEM DIE WELT GEHÖRT.
The young musician Basilio, played by Julian Pollina, also known by his stage name FABER, lives in an abandoned villa in Sicily with his mysterious older mentor Kasimir, who is supposed to help him find true poetry. Because his dream is to write that one great song, that one masterpiece that touches people at the depths of their souls. But as much as he tries to listen to the world, he doesn't understand it, torn between the desire to create great art and the compulsion to work in his uncle's shoe shop. One day, Basilio meets the equally strange Karla, whose life seems to be mysteriously intertwined with his. The symbolism of the world around her leads her to make an unexpected discovery.
