Set 183 years before the events of the original film trilogy, THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE WAR OF THE ROHIRRIM tells the fate of the House of Helm Hammerhand, the legendary King of Rohan. A sudden attack by Wulf, a cunning and ruthless Dunlending prince bent on avenging his father's death, forces Helm and his people into a daring last stand at the ancient fortress of Hornburg - a mighty castle that would later become known as Helm's Deep. Hera, Helm's daughter, finds herself in an increasingly desperate situation and must summon the will to lead the resistance against a deadly enemy bent on her utter destruction.
