Der Fuchs

THE FOX is the true story of Franz Streitberger, Adrian's Goiginger's great-grandfather, a motorcycle courier in the Austrian army who is incorporated into the Wehrmacht with the Anschluss. At the beginning of World War II, the introverted young soldier meets a wounded fox cub, which he cares for as if it were his own child and takes with him to occupied France. Through this strange friendship with the animal, his own past as an outcast farmer's son, from which he has always run away, slowly catches up with him.
