Dear Beautiful Beloved

The film documents the tireless care work in Ukraine during the war, when new structures of protection and security are created to give people back a bit of dignity despite the violence. The film shows how old and single people are evacuated, how medical stations are set up and escape routes are organised. In the midst of these endeavours, questions are raised about the bereaved and the value of safety. Yuri Rechinsky draws attention to the invisible moments of care work that are often overlooked in war reporting.
