Das wandelnde Schloss (dt. Fassung)

Sophie, a milliner in her deceased father's store, meets the magician Howl by chance, falls in love with him and is then cursed by a jealous witch, who turns her into an old woman. She secretly becomes a cleaning lady in the wizard's mysterious walking castle in order to be closer to Howl.

The fairy-tale story, once again enlivened by wondrous fantasy creatures, is based on the 1997 Japanese novel "Howl's Moving Castle" by British author Diana Wynne Jones. The story was once again brought to the screen by Miyazaki's Ghibli studio with breathtaking ideas.
