Das Tagebuch der Diana B.
Born in Innsbruck, Diana Budisavljević (née Obexer) initiated one of the largest rescue operations of the Second World War. Between 1941 and 1945, she was able to free more than 10,000 children from the death camps of the fascist Ustasha regime. Diana's diary entries form the framework for a hybrid film in which acted scenes, archive material and interviews with survivors are interwoven. ‘The story of Diana B. becomes a parable of humanity and a portrait of an intrepid woman.’
