Things are not going well for Felix (Matthias Schweighöfer). Nothing seems to be going right for him. He is having difficulties at work and also has to deal with problems in his private life after his wife Bianca (Luise Heyer) suddenly wants a separation and his children are becoming increasingly withdrawn. But then a fateful encounter changes everything when a mysterious stranger (Henry Hübchen) offers to grant him three wishes. Felix agrees, hoping to save his family. He wishes that all his wishes will come true in the future, thinking this is a clever move. But when suddenly everything he wishes for comes true, he soon realises that it is more of a curse than a blessing and that he must confront his true needs in order to achieve true happiness...
