**Opening Film of the Festival: *Cyborg Generation***

The festival's opening film, *Cyborg Generation*, takes the audience into the world of 18-year-old musician Kai Landre as he embarks on a journey of self-discovery. This experimental documentary follows the protagonist as he develops a groundbreaking cybernetic organ and prepares to implant it into his body. His goal: to gain a new sensory perception that enables him to hear sounds from outer space on Earth—a vision that radically challenges traditional notions of identity, the body, and perception.

This cinematic exploration of hybrid possibilities between humans and machines raises profound questions about the essence of humanity and expands the dimensions of identity politics and queerness.

Following the premiere, an exclusive live performance will immerse the audience in the soundscapes of Kai Landre.

A Q&A session will follow, featuring both the protagonist and director Miguel Morillo Vega, who will discuss the creative process and the real and fictional inspirations behind this unique work.
