Club Zero

Miss Novak teaches conscious eating at a public school in England and increasingly changes the eating habits of the pupils. Slow eating, bite by bite, not too much - and finally less and less. Without arousing the suspicions of the other teachers and parents, some of the pupils fall under her spell and eventually become part of the mysterious Club Zero. The new work by Austrian auteur filmmaker Jessica Hausner is a highly stylised, idiosyncratically enraptured social satire about consumption, sectarian extremes and bad eating habits.
