Charlie und die Schokoladenfabrik

In this first film adaptation of Roald Dahl's famous literary work, Gene Wilder plays chocolate manufacturer Willy Wonka, who gives five children from all over the world the chance to visit his mysterious and legendary factory through a competition. The factory is full of magic and wonder, sweet secrets and busy Umpah Lumpahs.

In addition to the kind-hearted but destitute blonde Charlie, four very different and not only pleasant and likeable children have hit the jackpot. What they all don't know: Wonka wants to test the children's character in his colourful chocolate world and exposes them to all kinds of irresistible sweet temptations. Only one child will win the big, surprising prize at the end...
