Brand New Landscape
Siblings Ren and Emi Takano, now young adults, are confronted with the return of their estranged father Hajime—a celebrated landscape architect whose professional ambition once tore their family apart. A decade earlier, during their last vacation together, Hajime prioritized work over being present, leaving behind his wife Yumiko and their children. Yumiko's subsequent death and Hajime's subsequent emigration left Emi and Ren alone with their grief. Ten years later, Emi is preparing for her wedding, while Ren delivers orchids—both marked differently by the unspoken wounds of abandonment. When Ren discovers an exhibition by his father, their paths cross again, forcing an uncomfortable reunion.
