Born in Flames

The feminist utopia BORN IN FLAMES is set 10 years after a socialist revolution in the USA. Hopes for equality have been dashed. More and more women are organising to assert their interests. Two illegally operated feminist radio stations broadcast militant theses on the airwaves. After the mysterious death of a female activist, they call for an open fight against the patriarchy and use violence to make their voices heard. A radical film in terms of form and content, to which female directors such as Jamie Babbit (ITTI BITTY TITTY COMMITEE) refer.
