Böse Zellen
"Year after year goes by, and I've long since realised that nothing stays the same, that nothing stays the same ..." Marion survives a plane crash and dies in a car accident six years later. She leaves behind a daughter and a husband who finds support from her best friend. In the end, he is the lucky winner of a prefabricated house, in whose bare rooms he now stands alone, while the child sinks her eyes into a puddle outside in the rain. A seemingly banal and yet conciliatory moment in Barbara Albert's "fateful film", in which she weaves life and death, farewell and guilt, escape and longing into a dark web of stories in the sociotope of a small town. A film about the big questions of existence that doesn't want to give any answers - also a form of consolation.
