With the beautiful narration of Nicolai Gruninger, children are fully drawn into the stories. Multi-instrumentalist Marc Bruckner creates a playful and affectionate sound universe using a wide variety of fascinating instruments, bringing the images on screen to life.
We highly recommend this picture book cinema for children aged 3 up to second grade!
Kindergartens and schools can arrange special weekday morning screenings. For information and registration, please contact: filmcasino@filmcasino.at

The Most Beautiful Wound
Bang! While playing, the boy crashes off the table tennis table. Everyone—the whole school—wants to see the bleeding wound! Again and again, he has to recount in detail exactly what happened. At the latest when all the children in math class start adding up their wounds, the red felt-tip pens run out in art class, and he is carried into the cafeteria, he finds it pretty great that everything revolves around his magnificent wound. And then, a small miracle happens.

A Mountain, a Fall, a Long Life
A legend says: whoever falls on this mountain has only three years left to live. One day, disaster strikes—the grandfather falls! He loses all his will to live and feels mortally ill. Shortly before the three years are up, his granddaughter comes to visit and offers a completely different calculation. Suddenly, the mountain takes on an entirely new meaning.

Mail for the Tiger
It all began with a tiger who longed for the bear. So he asks the little bear: “Why don’t you write me a letter?” Said and done. Soon, the two friends invent the postal service, airmail, and even the telephone with an underground cable connection. A classic of children’s literature, now also available as a board book for children aged 3 and up, in a fresh new design.
