Barton Fink

After a success on Broadway, naive author Barton Fink receives an offer from the West Coast. There, however, he merely ends up in the anonymous author factory of the industry. Suddenly everything becomes distorted, as if in a mirror image created by Escher: Fink wakes up next to the corpse of a woman, his neighbor turns out to be a serial killer - dream and reality become impenetrable - but beware: it may all be a Hollywood invention.
