Auf dem rechten Auge blind
Short film programme curated by Florian Wüst
Auf dem rechten Auge blind shows four documentary-artistic short films that reflect on the deeper levels of crimes - from the Rostock pogrom to the Nuremberg NSU murders to the attack on the Olympic shopping centre in Munich in July 2016 - and counter the omnipresence of intersectional experiences and national attributions with the possibility of breaking up rigid patterns of thought.Auf dem rechten Auge blind was originally compiled for the programme series Laboratory of the Present: Germany of the 39th Short Film Festival Hamburg 2023.
