Attenberg

Marina is 23 and lives with her father in an interchangeable industrial town on the coast. Marina finds the human species strange, almost off-putting, if it weren't for Bella, her only and very unconventional friend. Marina derives her first sexual insights from the animal documentaries of Sir David Attenborough - “Attenberg”, as she calls him. Bella, on the other hand, shows Marina a completely different approach to her own sexuality.

This leads to bizarre moments during Marina's approach to an unknown table football player and during discussions with her sick father. Her dad, an architect unimpressed by the twentieth century, is preparing for his self-determined “exit” from life. He considers this era to be overrated and does not want to surrender to his cancer. Through these two men and their friend Bella, Marina investigates the last mysteries of the human fauna.
