Als Hitler den Krieg überlebte

While the Nazi elite are being tried in Nuremberg, a completely different reckoning is taking place in a secluded castle. In this alternative version of history, resistance fighters have taken the now seriously ill Adolf Hitler there to bring him to justice: "One death is not enough for him, he must die hundreds of deaths!" And so a macabre spectacle is repeated, in which he is repeatedly saved from execution at the last second. A Czech doctor is supposed to keep him alive - and is soon faced with a decision of conscience himself ... The labyrinthine and dark "What if ..." shows in an extremely ambivalent manner how the supposedly righteous become avengers in the name of justice - just to live out their own power fantasies.
