After the death of his beloved grandmother, young literature lecturer Gabriel flees loneliness and heads to Rio. In the trendy bar Glória, where the queer neighbourhood meets the sex workers from the surrounding streets, he finds the family he has always lacked. At the same time, he falls in love with escort Adriano, who opens up an exciting but dark new world for him – one that Gabriel is drawn deeper and deeper into when Adriano suddenly disappears. An obsessive search begins, in which Gabriel not only puts himself in danger.
