ABBA: The Movie – Fan Event
Shot by director Lasse Hallström during their 1977 Australian tour and remastered, ABBA: THE MOVIE takes viewers on a journey back to the 1970s, when disco ruled and ABBA were celebrated as kings. Featuring full-length backstage footage and performances of some of ABBA's biggest hits, including "Dancing Queen," "SOS," "Name Of The Game" and "Waterloo," the film offers a rare look at the hugely successful band at the height of their popularity.
The subplot is a documentary story about a country radio DJ trying to get an interview with the band. A slapstick mix of coincidence and error by the young DJ, who must get the coveted interview while ABBA's dedicated bodyguard does everything he can to prevent it.
This fan event also features exclusive extras, including insight from the makers of the successful London concert ABBA: Voyage, a look inside the ABBA Museum in Stockholm, lyric videos of hits and rare behind-the-scenes footage from the 1977 tour.
