5 nanomoles – The Olympic dream of a trans woman

This documentary follows Valentina Petrillo, a visually impaired Paralympic athlete striving to become Italy's first transgender competitor in the women's category at the Tokyo 2021 Paralympics. After transitioning in 2019, Valentina fought for the right to compete internationally. Eventually, she became the first Italian transgender athlete competing in the women's category. The film explores her journey and the reactions it provokes, showcasing her inspirational quest to break societal norms and fulfill her Paralympic dream.
