The film FIORE MIO invites us on a meditative journey through breathtaking alpine landscapes. After the international success of The Eight Mountains, Italian bestselling author Paolo Cognetti returns as a director to the mountain world of his childhood – to the places, people, and animals around Monte Rosa that have shaped his life.

In the summer of 2022, when Italy is suffering from drought, Cognetti witnesses the spring near his house in Estoul – a small village at the foot of Monte Rosa – running dry. Accompanied by his dog Laki, he follows the trail of the water up to the melting glaciers, hiking through an alpine landscape in transition: nature is changing, but it does not disappear.
