It focuses on French kayaking icon Nouria Newman, who, together with two childhood friends, conquers one of the toughest whitewater sections in the world: the Rondu Gorge of the Indus River in Pakistan. A gripping insight into the world of extreme kayaking against the dramatic backdrop of the Karakorum.

Bavarian kayaking hero Olaf Obsommer is also drawn to remote regions in his film KAJAKEXPEDITION TIBET – MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: with a crew of nine, he sets off for eastern Tibet during the monsoon season. There they battle destroyed roads, landslides and checks by the Chinese authorities.
