23/P7: Auffi aufs Radl

Two bicycles. One tent. The world. That's the simple formula Angelika Hinteregger, who once also worked at the Mountain Film Festival, and Reinhard Maxbauer use to set off. They set off from Salzburg to New Zealand in 2018. They cycled almost 20,000 kilometres through 24 countries in 20 months. They didn't make it to New Zealand - yet - because the coronavirus pandemic stopped them. In the film EINFACH LOS - MIT DEM FAHRRAD VON SALZBURG IN DIE WELT, they tell the story of deserts and mountain landscapes, of a sense of freedom and touching encounters and of dicey moments.

Daniel Wick also set off from Salzburg. In BIKING TO ASIA, he travels to Istanbul. "The film tells my story, in which I finally wanted to feel free and alive and experience an adventure after finishing school," says Wick.
