What is Å ØVE about?
Trine refuses to fly. When the 18-year-old climate activist and talented trumpet player is invited to an audition at the famous opera house in Oslo, she only has a few days to cover the 1500km distance from the lonely Lofoten Islands to the capital. In order to stay true to her principles, Trine decides to hitchhike and rely on the helpfulness of strangers. However, the road trip through Norway’s rugged and beautiful landscapes puts Trine’s passion for music and her environmental idealism to the test.
